The following two days we had the most gorgeous wheather. We went to visit the Canyon and had the most energetic Ranger giving a talk about the Canyon. In the afternoon we climbed Mt. Washburn. The first mountain of more than 3000 meters altitude (though only a climb of 500 m). The kids did a great job without whinging and we had an amazing view over the entire park. ^⏄̐
On discovery tour of the dead bison!!

A herd of bisons that surprised us!!
Lili’s account: Yellowstone was one of my favorite national parks. That’s why I am a Junior Ranger of the park. I like it because of all the hotsprings and geysers and mudpots. I liked too because we saw lots of animals like bison and elk. The elk even went up to the visitor center and nibbled the nice green grass there. Once we went on a little walk and we could see bison really near so that we could have touched them with a few steps forward. But once even was even better: We were on a boardwalk and a big bison walked across the thermal area and he walked along and then crossed the boardwalk just in front of us. We could really have touched him. I love Norris campground with the Gibbon river that was really nice to play in and along. We wanted to bath in a hot river but we did not have enough time (bad parents!!). Once we found bison bones along the river. I love the upper Canyon falls. They have all colours and are really big. There was a ranger who did lots of talks there - he was really good. We went on Mt. Washburn from where we could see all of Yellowstone.
