Alaska down South - Lili’s birthday Lili’s account: Today was my birthday. We had breakfast and then Mummy asked the Purser whether I could go on the bridge. She agreed and we all went up there. A very kind man, the second mate, called Rob, showed us all the radars and the computers to see where the big rocks are. He showed us too where the Captain steers the boat from into the harbour. Then he let us steer the ferry. So I steered the ferry. He showed us where we going with the boat. We thanked him very much and then we had lunch. Then the others prepared my cake and the presents. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to light the candles because the fire alarm would be set off. The put loo paper on the candles instead!! I got lots of presents: a DVD called the Sound of Music from Grandma and Grandpa, a nice fluffy towel from Oma, a CD from Henny and Tim and the cousins, and a purse from Mummy and Daddy, and Anna and Cleo gave me a carabiner with a compass and a broche. Thank you very much everyone!! ퟖ􆧜笠ﯺ﷼￾
